Ck Convention in St Louis

Thursday afternoon Stephanie and I arrive in Collingsville, IL to our longly awaited CK Convention. This was the first one my friend and I had attented, and we're super excited. We signed in on thursday and got a good nights rest for classes and vendor fair on Friday and Saturday.

The Vendor Fair was neat, got to see alot of products, but no sells. But that didn't keep Steph and I from shopping. My favorite vendor was Technique Tuesday....alot of stamps and design boards, their kinda like chipboard but not. We took a class from Technique Tuesday that showed us how to use them...very cool!


I have to say though our favorite class was the Basic Grey class. We did 4 layouts, easy to follow, cool papers...Hope to show you some of the layouts when I get them done.

I had a great time, learned some new stuff, met new people, found a new design line I really like, and shared a wonderful experience with my BFF.
*PLUS...Got to take the FLAT CHICKS with me. They had an awesome time...hehe

Homemade Butterflies

I'm so excited, I made my own homemade butterflies...love them....got the stamps at wal-mart...watercolor pencils, glimmer mist, embossing powder....what do you think?

The Love of her Life

It was an awesome day today.....the temperature was perfect, you couldn't ask for better. Still feeling sick, from this bullying HEAD COLD, I wasn't going to let it keep me down. Avery took me to barn and we watch Morgan ride Frosty out in the arena. While Avery & I soaked up the rays.

what am i doing?

I'm feeling alittle down today....I'm sick....put a bullet to my head and end this misery. Sorry if that offended anyone. The bad thing is, this weekend is suppose to be awesome....it's already 57 degrees, and all i can do is blow my nose again....I do however want to put a yell out there....thanks to the PUFFS WITH VICKS...it is my saving grace, or at least my nose's saving grace. I wanted to get Morgans room finish painted, do some cooking....play outside....not happening. Thanks for listening...Dear Jesus please forgive me for complaining and having my little pity party.

Scrapbook Retreat

I had an awesome weekend....got to relax, and not worry about cleaning, cooking....or my family.
Had lots of fun with my friend Stepho scrapping at River Ridge Inn in Norfork. Just a little "me" time. Thanks Steph for a great time.
